Through Grandma’s Eyes: The Conversation

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap

but by the seeds you plant.”

-Robert Louis Stevenson-

journal entry:

Who knows what a child will remember?  What do I remember?  What do you remember about being a child, asking a question and getting an answer?  What is it about a mommy sharing a moment with a precious little daughter . . . explaining about the new baby . . . expressing love for each other ?  I love moments like these more than any portrait or written word.  Faces and bodies tell the tale.  I see love, patience, excitement, delight, openness  and comfort.  These moments do plant seeds.  One special moment makes it possible for the next and the next.

“To become rich is easy.

Much harder is to solve the riddles of the heart.”
