“People have forgotten how to tell a story. Stories don’t have a middle or an end anymore.
They usually have a beginning that never stops beginning.”
I know that it looks like a fish story but I don’t think it is. Grandpa has the reptile book on his lap and we are, after all, at the zoo. Both grandfather and granddaughter are really good story tellers. I wonder how much bigger the lizard got before they agreed? I bet that it was a full-sized dragon !
Oh, my ! It WAS a lizard-dragon. Clara was right !
“Don’t tell fish stories
where the people know you;
but particularly don’t tell them
where people know the fish.”
