Little Cousins: Through Grandma’s Eyes

Afton and Olive.

Cousins.

Afton can barely keep her sweet little kisses off of Olive’s head . . . and face . . . and fingers.

I can barely keep my kisses to myself either.

I am generous with both little girls.

Every day I appreciate more and more the importance of taking family photographs.

LOTS OF THEM.

Not just photographs of people lined up staring at the camera . . .

but photographs which often capture much more than faces and places.

I love this photograph of Afton and her new little cousin Olive.

Afton would hold Olive all day if you let her.

Little people love other little people’s toes.

This Little Piggy Went to Market

just might be the most repeated silly little ditty

and everyone knows what it feels like to have your toes

run “wee wee wee” all the way home.

What a wonderful time in which to live.

Cameras.

Printers.

Editing Software.

Digital.

I intend to remember everything.
