Ribbon Wreath for the Fourth

Ribbon wreaths are nothing new but I have never made one. This one is little.  Only 10 inches across. It is now hanging on my front door.

It was fun sleuthing around for the perfect scraps. Red, white and blue. I keep a large scrap jar for such things. {Never throw away scraps . . . unless they are food.}

Nothing difficult about making this wreath. All you do is tie ribbon scraps around a round frame of some type with a hole in the middle. Wood, wire or Styrofoam. Many wonderful ribbon wreaths on the Internet.  An overload of wonderful images and ideas !

I used ribbon, rick-rack, brads shaped like stars and little rosettes made out of ribbon. I gave it a light whoosh of spray adhesive and poured some glitter on it.

Oh. And I found a place for my little, blue star with the flowers on it.

Right in the middle.
