Through Grandma’s Eyes: The Lesson

“We go where we need to go

and then try to figure out what we’re doing there.”

-Jeff Greenwald-

journal entry:

Oh, how I love photographs which tell a story.  Not faces.  Not poses.  Not new clothes.  Just ordinary moments.  It was Christmas.  Santa brought skis.  This little guy had been up and down the hill in Grandpa’s yard until he was . . . well, just through.  Now, isn’t this more fun that a face at the top of the hill with a smile, waving his hand to the camera?  I think so.  The photograph is made even more interesting to those who know . . . because Grandpa received a stocking cap for Christmas which bears the logo of the university which is the greatest rival of the university from which grandpa graduated.  Nice son-in-law, wouldn’t you say?
