Through Grandma’s Eyes: The Shoes

“You never really know someone

until you have walked a mile in her shoes.

Or, is that shoe?”

journal entry:

Buy one-get one free.  That was the deal.  Of course I was thinking entirely in the box again with the lid on tight.  Keeley, however, shopping with her father, had already thrown the box away and was sporting her new shoes.  Who would have thought?  Not me.  I have to say that these bright and happy shoes, mixed and matched to be funky, match her personality just right.  These are high tops. I remember when high tops first came out for girls.  My girls wanted them.  They were soft pink and baby blue.  They were canary yellow and deep purple.  Things don’t really change.  Just the colors do !
