My Bright Ideas File

“A half-baked idea is okay as long as it is in the oven.”

journal entry:

If I had kept every idea I ever clipped out of a magazine or saw in the newspaper or heard about through the grapevine or had on my own . . . I would have an enormous idea library.  True.  Some ideas are bad ideas and some are impossible ideas.  Some are just plain out- of -date but some are really, really good.  I am more selective about what I keep now that I am older and wiser.  Well, maybe mostly older.  An idea is only a “keeper” if I think there is a very good possibility that I will actually “need” it or do something with it.

This is my IDEA FILE.  The pocket-folders come 12 to a pack at Wal-Mart.  Brown and Green.  I like both but chose brown.  I ruffled through my alphabets and found this little tag alphabet which I have had for many years.  I punched out the alphabet and placed the letters on brown card stock paper.  I ran the paper through my laminator.  Then I used my paper cutter to cut between the letters.  Using a small piece of double stick tape, I attached each letter to the back of each pocket-folder and once in position I stapled them one by one.  IDEA FILE !  What a great idea !
