Paper Carrots

” Only in dreams are carrots bigger than bears.”

-Old Yiddish Saying-

These are little carrot boxes which I downloaded to my Silhouette Cutting Machine library. Hard to see the carrot in them as shown above, but not hard to see in the picture below.

I reduced the size of the little box so that I could fit three on a sheet of card stock.  I mixed and matched orange prints !

I used green net with glitter for the stems. I simply cut a strip about 18 inches in length, folded it in half lengthwise and gathered it up with my fingers. Then I put a rubber band around it to hold it together and stuck the “leaves” into  the top of each carrot.

I distressed the edges with an ink pad and called it a day !  Each carrot is about two inches tall. Or short. Whichever works for you. The little critters came from Hobby Lobby and are about an inch tall. I am sure that the little rabbits are grateful for carrots as big as bears. Well, maybe as big as mice.

” Rabbits have a habit of staying for lunch.

Instead of one leaf, it takes a bunch.
