Through Grandma’s Eyes: The Airplane

“When everything seems to be going against you,

remember that the airplane takes off against the wind,

not with it.”

-Henry Ford-

journal entry:

I have favorite photographs and this is one of them.  Talmage is a child who can concentrate. He is a child who asks good questions.  He thinks things through.  He changes his plan when it doesn’t work.  He and Grandpa made this balsa wood plane together.  Talmage and Grandpa have made many airplanes together.  They both love anything that flies.  I can just imagine what happens next.  Can you?

“You can’t plow a field by turning it over in your mind.”

-Author Unknown-

“The engine is the heart of the airplane,

but the pilot is its soul.”

-Walter Raleigh-
