Advent Calendar for Children

I truly had little children in mind when I made this magnetic advent calendar for a special family I know. { a family with my grandchildren in it } It is bright and cheery and interesting !

 

 

 

It was such fun prowling around for the pieces of the calendar.  I used ornaments { metal ornaments work best } and tons of little things from my scrapbook supplies. I used lots of superglue { as my fingers will attest } and double magnets on some.

 

 

I found this very special metal ornament which was perfect for Christmas Day.  It is important to teach children that Christmas is about the birth and life of Jesus Christ.
