“It’s more fun to talk with someone
who doesn’t use long, difficult words
but rather short, easy words like
“what about lunch?”

journal entry:
A person doesn’t have to look very far to find “happy things”. When I spotted this scrapbook paper, I knew instantly what it was meant to be. I traced each flower onto a contrasting card stock and cut them out. I attached the fronts and the backs with a teeny tiny piece of tape just to hold them in place. I used some clear contact paper I had on hand. I put the flower onto the peeled contact paper and sealed them. I trimmed the edges to within one half inch of the flower. I can picture little girls in pretty dresses sitting around a tiny table. I can see their little dishes on their place mats and their little, tiny cups and saucers. Everyone is happy to have such a bright and happy party table. Why . . . I think that even a busy mother could make these pretty placemats for her little daughter’s birthday party ! She could send them home as favors. Now, there’s an idea !
p.s. The cups and saucers are tiny. The little napkins were very easy and quick to make. They are just little squares. The little napkin ring is actually a shower curtain hook. Goldfish and M&Ms always go together and everyone loves them. Did you know that you can have a party even when no one is having a birthday?
