Yes. Little girls can eat on paper plates, sitting on a blanket. That is just fine. But what if I want to be a bit more fancy? What if I want to have a party ? It’s easy. It’s inexpensive. And, little girls can have the party over and over. All I needed was a trip to the dollar store. I went. I bought these cute divided plates with flowers on them and pink plastic ice cream cups. I had the pink spoons. I cut a 36×36 piece of nice, heavy cotton cloth and hemmed the edges. A tablecloth. I cut four 8×8 squares and zig zagged the edges. Napkins. I found the rest of a set of shower curtain rings. Napkin rings. Can you think of any little girl who wouldn’t want a lunch outside in the summertime with her own tablecloth, napkins and dishes? Plastic. Washable fabric. Just need the jello cut in little squares with whipped cream on the top and a bunch of little girls to eat it !
