WHAT IS A KEEPSAKE?
It is one thing to one person and another thing to another. We all hope that when we make something for someone, they will like it. In this crafty world, it is easy to make things we like which horrify other people.
(Stop me if I get to the horrifying stage !)
Once again, I made some lacing cards. My grandchildren have expressed their pleasure with cards I have made in the past and posted on this blog. Robots, funky animals and beautiful dolls with fancy clothes. The” birthday girl” got this set of lacing cards with her birthday gifts and her face told me I had dodged a bullet yet another day.
Whew.
I thought she would like these beautiful images. Dolls with clothes out-of-this-world. Beautiful hair and eyes and faces.
The bag is made from scraps and the laces are from the dollar store. The “favorite things” label is from the scrapbook store . . . sold by the foot. I affixed it with double bond tape and added the spool to the drawstring just for fun.
