Easy Photo Journals

There are seven million!”

journal entry:

I buy one dollar glasses.  No, really I do.  Because little people always want to “borrow” them or “just try them on” or wear them outside “just for a minute”.  Somehow, during the borrowing or trying on or just a minutes they change shape.  Glasses are not really the most important part of this conversation.  Making small photo journals is.  The newest version of completely free Picasa, downloaded from the internet, helps even a computer dunce like me to make wonderful things.  I love being able to write on the photographs like this photo journal cover.  Photo journals don’t have to have a lot of pages.  They can have a couple or many.  They can be any size that will fit in a sheet protector or survive lamination.  I have sheet protectors as small as 2×3 inches.  Almost any favorite photograph can be a cover.  Covers are important because they lead you in.  They make you want to turn the page.  I know of only one way to keep a memory alive.  That is to stop it cold in time.  That’s what photographs do.  Photo journals just make the memories more fun to look at !

“To be in your child’s memories tomorrow, be in his life today.”
