POTATO BUGS.
The joy of little fingers.
I found this illustration from a children’s book and saved it.
{I don’t know who the artist was but if you know, please tell me.}
When it came time to make t-shirts for our Family Gathering, I thought that a family of quirky potato bugs was a fitting choice. I added the family name and the date and printed out iron-ons for each child. It was during this project that I learned the EASY way to produce a mirror image of whatever you want to create and then print out to iron on. CTRL – H. Yup. That’s it. The H means horizontal. If you want to change it back, you use CTRL V. Vertical. Too easy. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know.
WHAT’S IN A NAME?
Kids love to see their own names. I found various backgrounds on the Internet
which I saved to my computer.
I added the labels and the names through Pic Monkey.
I made them into collages.
Pic Monkey also has a feature which lets you change a square to a circle.
I cut them out and put them into plastic pin-on badges from the craft store.
YES. It had been a very long but fun day.
