“Rivers know this: there is no hurry.
We shall get there someday.”
Is there such a thing as time to children? I don’t know. I know that when children want something they know when you have taken too long to get it for them. If children want to go somewhere, you can’t get their fast enough. If children don’t want to go in for a nap, they can play so well all by themselves as if they were invisible. Andrew and I did simple things this day without any care for time. He drove his cars, buried them, found some water, found bugs, smiled at me, gave me loves, and the time just stopped for both of us. I made this little easy counting book of all the things Andrew did outside that day. I am very new at board books. Mine are very simple. Andrew liked it. It will help him to remember the day we played in the yard without any concern for anything but having fun.
