It isn’t Christmas without the beauty of Handel’s Messiah.
Handel’s pen wrote the music but these words come from Isaiah.
King of Kings. Lord of Lords. The Mighty God. The Everlasting Father.
The Prince of Peace.
I have collected a few “crowns” from thrift stores. Most were once something other than crowns, but they were crowns to me. Using copper and gold and silver, I painted the crowns and added the plaque.
Thrifting things is very satisfying
and once you know what you hope to find,
if you wander around long enough, you will find it.
There are many ways to remember the true meaning of Christmas.
