Through Grandma’s Eyes: The Old Horse

“Horses.

If God made anything more beautiful,

he kept it for himself.”

-Author Unknown-

journal entry:

Talmage had a riding lesson.  What sounded like fun wasn’t. At least not today. Nevertheless, photographs of the day would suggest that he felt pretty good about his horsemanship.  The last ride of the day was to put the old horse away.  The horse really could have put himself away.  He seemed to have the route memorized.  As Talmage and his horse rounded the corner, I was lucky enough to be in the right place to capture the speed limit sign as they trotted . . . well, walked, well actually strolled to the stable.

“Getting a good photograph

is knowing where to stand.”
