“There is something about the outside of a horse
that is good for the inside of a boy.”
Children love the soft noses of horses. They love the chomp of the big teeth and the big, brown eyes. Whether it is apples, carrots or grass . . . nice horses will take them from the hands of children, even if they don’t want them and drop them on the ground later. This is a nice horse. It belongs to Farmer Ron. It loves to lift its head over the fence to smell the children”s hair. This horse is named Peanut. Everyone likes him. He seems to have a kindness for children. Grandpa has ridden him and said the same. Oh . . . our Heavenly Father made beautiful things !
