journal entry:
New shirts. Pressed and ready. Ready for a “brother” photograph. No matter what mommy did . . . one son paid attention but the other thought it was dumb. Little people have no idea why they are suddenly out of their comfy clothes and into starched shirts. Nevertheless. The photographs of trying to take the photographs . . . tell more of a story than the cooperative photographs if you know what I mean. I made a little book about New Shirts so that these little boys would remember how lovingly their mother worked to dress them and make certain that their sunny day wearing brand, new shirts was remembered. Who needs another photograph of two smiling faces and bodies without wiggles. Not me !
