This is a just a quick look at quick project. This wooden box was white. It is my “idea file”. I have been trying to “think outside of the box” (so to speak) when it comes to color. I tend to choose muted tones but lately I have tried some bright alternatives. Mixed this and that from craft paints on hand. Painted the box with a foam brush. Distressed it with Glimmer Mist. Used mounting squares to attach the bumble bee paper from the collection Colorful Life by Donna Estabrooks. Paper doesn’t get much more bold than this !
The craft paint dries fast.
The foam brush paints better than a bristle brush.
The Glimmer Mist dries fast.
Mounting squares on each corner will make it easier for me to change the paper, rather than glue it on and have to scrape it off.
That’s it .
