Globe Decor: You Are Divine

IMG_0386

journal entry:

“You Are Divine” is used here to mean that we are children of Heavenly Parents.

Our attributes are Heavenly gifts.

We are divine.

This is a fairly large globe which had several damaged surfaces. I used a “one-coat metallic spray paint” which covered quickly and perfectly in just one coat as it said it would and seldom does. I was very surprised. I put tape over the stand before spraying.

These pink angel wings flew right to me. Really.

They were among the Christmas Ornaments at Hobby Lobby.

I knew when I saw them that they were meant for this globe.

The back of the globe has the reminder to “be fabulous”.

Both quotes (front and back) came from the Silhouette Download Library

and were designed by the same artist.

(I love my Silhouette Cutting Machine. It is going strong.)

The globe is ringed with little metal stars. They have been lightly sprayed with glitter paint.

(Look below to learn about the “divine and fabulous” crown.)

I have been collecting little “things” that look like crowns. They are quite unusual and vary by size, color and shape. Some were candle holders in their previous lives and some were wire baskets. This candle holder had a very “divine and fabulous” look and could easily have been sent to the thrift store when a Princess and her attendants were not paying attention.

It is tied to the upright frame with some twine which is concealed. I put a small tea light with a glittery base inside of the crown to make it even more “divine and fabulous”. The little lights came from the dollar store, two in a package. Hopefully they will last for awhile.

“No one who shuns the blows and the dust of battle wins a crown.”
