Oh, how I love the five-minute projects.
Projects that provide an instant sigh and a smile.
This was that kind of project.
Not only was this July 4th Door Decoration fast and easy . . . it was relatively inexpensive to make.
( under $6 )

The “America” plaque came from Dollar Tree. The over-sized cookie cutters came from Michael’s Crafts and were $1.50 each. I already had the twine which I used to hang the cookie cutters. ( I never buy twine at the scrapbook store or on the scrapbook aisle because it is too expensive. I buy it on a roll at Hobby Lobby at 50% off. It is with the ribbon and goes on sale every other week. It is 20 yards to a roll for $1.50 when on sale. )
I made a bunch of red, white and blue yarn pom poms for a garland which is just about finished and so . . . I used two for the top of the decoration.
Everything is tied together with a piece of red ribbon which was in my scrap jar.
Here is a closer look at the cookie cutters. They are about 6 inches tall.
Wouldn’t they be cute for a summer party?
” God Bless America !”
Love that!
