I can be across the river or behind a tree and still get
wonderful, natural photographs using a telephoto lens.
I have found that children love to see themselves as brave, which they generally are !

From one of my favorite poets, comes the tale of a Lamplighter.
Here is just the first verse:
The Lamplighter

When the light of day declineth,
And a swift angel through the sky
Kindleth God’s tapers clear,
With ashen staff the lamplighter
Passeth along the darkling streets
To light our earthly lamps.
